We take pride in our goats!

Our story began with Abbie beginning to breed goats in 2013 but starting in 2022 decided to start milking the goats to make soaps. From there, we decided to start on this new adventure, and of course, the kids had to join in on the process of milking the goats every day. When we started, we had four does to milk, and we were milking by hand. After about a month of hand milking, we invested in a machine to milk; by next year, we are expecting at least six does to milk. It has been a learning process and a real journey.

So from there, Abbie did intensive research and reading, and decided to start making soap as well as keeping dairy-use goats.

From the Goat,

for the body

We take pride in caring for our goats, they receive daily hay, grain, and clean water along with dried herbs. Everyone is given their recommended vaccines twice a year and dewormed several times throughout the year; they are also given hoof care regularly from an educated farrier. The girls have a breeding schedule set for them so that milking and kidding season can start exactly when we want it to, and best for the mother and baby. The goats are thoroughly cleaned before and after milking before being placed back into the pasture with the other girls and their babies.

After the milk, it is strained twice through filters to ensure there is nothing we don't want in the milk. Finally, after that, it is frozen into cubes and can be used for our products.
